we are rooted in winston-salem, nc, the 91st largest city in america. winston was the first city in america to have an arts council and we thrive because of that. there is a wonderful fabric of musicians, visual artists, poets, writers, and photographers. there are also wonderful artisans. our community alone participates in coffee roasting, beer brewing, wine making, community gardening, photography, live music, and visual art.
